Restriction of user to doc group doesn't work

Hello,
I have made a user group for "translators" of one folder in the site tree with italian documents. The user "Tomaso" is a member of this user group (Security->Manager Users->Create/Edit user->Access permissions). The user group "translators" is connected to the document group "italian pages" which has documents starting with id=128 and up.

However, when Tomaso logs in, he still can edit documents with id’s other than the italian pages. Any ideas??? Am I on the wrong way to achieve this?

Also one mention for the friendly translators to German: in Create/Edit User: Manager Interface Access - There seems a translation problem. The German translation can be misunderstood as if is the option was set to yes, then the user would be directed to the manager backend (not login), if set to no, the user would be directed to the defined page id but still would be logged in and i.E. able to use Quickedit. But the option has to be set to yes in order to let the user use Quickedit in the frontend.

NOTE: If this option is set to no then the user will be redirected the the Manager Login Startup or Site Start web page.

Hinweis: Wenn diese Option gesetzt ist, wird der Benutzer direkt auf die Managerkonsole bzw. auf die Startseite geleitet.

Security is subtractive in MODx, not additive. In other words, unless you add all documents to a group other than "translators", those users will be able to edit anything in "italian pages" document group, as well as any document not in a secured document group.
