Being logged in to the Manager and the front end are two separate things, so if you're viewing the site while logged in to the Manager, MODX can get confused about your login status.
Also, there is a specific logout permission in the Administrator policy. Make sure you have it.
Can you post the tag you're using for the Login snippet?
hi
Yes. There are times when I have to logout in the Manager or try in another browse in order to know login status.
I thought that I had problem with logout because I used in the "Members Only" pages[[+modx.user.username]] for know the user logged and always was showing the same name.
After, I used:
<?php
$profile = $modx->user->getOne('Profile');
$email=$profile->get('email');
$username=$modx->user->get('username');
$id_user=$modx->user->get('id');
$output="<p>Email: ".$email."</p>";
$output.="<p>Username: ".$username ."</p>";
return $output;
I understood that the logout is working well but I can not understand why [[+modx.user.username]] and return $output ( $output show correct data ) show different data.
I use:
<p>[[!Login? &logoutTpl=`lgnLogoutTpl` &logoutResourceId=`2`]]</p>
Most likely it's the cache.
Try this:
