Need help: TinyMCE not inserting images correctly since upgrade to Revo 2.2.10

Had my hosting provider upgrade me to Revo 2.2.10 - seems TinyMCE was also updated to version 4.3.3.

I have had some minor issues since but the one bugging me most right now is when I try to insert an image into a page using TinyMCE, I get a broken link. Looking at the HMTL I see:

Image does not show or are broken in the Image Editor

This isn't a problem with TinyMCE but rather the Image Editor portion of the Resource Browser. The problem occurs because the Image Editor is using an incorrect Resource URL path. Go to Tools-Configuration, click on the Interface & Features tab, and scroll down to the Resource URL option. Chances are it's set to a relative URL. Change it to either a full URL or a root relative URL.

However, I am not quite sure where to change this setting. When I go to System / System Settings in Revo and search for "filemanager", I see several settings for file manager path and file manager URL but they all say the settings are deprecated.

I am sure this is the root of my problem (pardon the pun) but I am at a loss on where to go and what setting to change to make the file manager / TinyMCE work together correctly.

FYI, I also noted that since the upgrade, my existing images no longer seem to have a correct hyperlink to their original image location which also seems to confirm my suspicions about a file manager path problem.

FYI, I would provide PHP and server versions but I don't think they're the issue here. They are all versions supported by Revo 2.2.10

P.S.
Upon further investigation, I see now that Revo 2.2.10 has moved all the file manager settings to a new tab under Tools / Media Source. This is a new tab that I am unfamiliar with, though I can find settings similar to the filemanager settings.

My problem now is,even with Admin rights, I am unable to get any of my edits to these settings to save.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I had this issue with links after we switched servers AND upgraded to Revo 2.2.10. For some reason when I inserted a link via TinyMCE FileManager, it would prepend the server IP address and randomly, "ic_html". So my link would look like this:



After much hair-pulling I narrowed it down to this:

Go to line 23 of assets/components/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/filemanager/config.php

We deleted the value so it now looks like this:



Hope that helps someone coz it sure was driving me nuts.
