Hi. My name is Thi. I am new in MODX completely.
I have a project using SSO (.NET) for multiple websites. In my SSO system, there is ony a login screen for all websites. Let's say it is SSO Login Page.
I also have a website using MODX. And I want to integrate MODX website to that that system SSO.
I also know that MODX has a concept called context. There are 2 contexts: web and manager. In web context (front-end), i have no login screen, this is make SSO integrating easy. I am just redirect to SSO Login Page when have a request to pages in Web Context. I handles this in /index.php
Everything work properly against Web context.
But with manager context, I stuck 3 days to find the way integrate SSO because MODX has a login screen for manager context. In my system, only have some people have permission access to Manager Context. I want user uses SSO Login Page instead of the default login screen of manager context.
The first idea flashed in my mind is:
- Redirect all request to /manager/index.php to SSO Login Page.
- User enter credential, redirect back to /manager/index.php. From here, i got credentials.
And the question is: "How to or Is there any way to login to Manager Context via Post request or REST API?".

- MODX Revolution 2.2.8-pl (traditional)
- PHP 5.3.13
- MySQL 5.5.24
- Apache 2.2.22
