Re: Error in IE 11 on Windows 7

IE 11 is still in Beta ( testing environment ) and very few people have it to trouble shoot, it would be far better if the client uninstalled it and went back to the latest stable release as there will probably be more errors that they haven't come across yet.

IE11 is long out of Beta now but the problem is still there.

Is it certain that this is a IE11 bug or is there any other solution for this?
We are experiencing this as well on Modx Revo 2.0.10.

I've been bug-spotting on IE11 for a while now. Got a little list going which I'll post soon on this forum for discussion before I actually submit issues to github.

It's worth noting that switching to IE10 mode, and in some cases IE9 mode, using developer tools (F12, bottom icon on the left, 'Document mode') solves most of the issues I'm considering reporting.

ExtJS have been updated in 2.2.9-pl to v3.4.1.1 (changelog). The changes were mostly to bring better IE support.
Could you please make sure the bugs you guys are facing are still present in Revo 2.2.9+ before raising an issue ?

For the record, there also is ExtJS 3.4.2 which seems to be adding better support for IE11, but for subscribers only, so no "community" release for now (see Sencha announcement).

In the meantime, it might worth the trouble having a look at the http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" meta.
