    Hi guys,

I'm a long time user of ASP .net and I have a small knowledge of PHP, some things are similar, only the syntax is different.

I experimented with the Cliche gallery for a day and a half and I can't find any solutions on the web for my issues. I'm building a small portfolio based website. So basically what I need, on the home page there will be shown all uploaded albums with selected thumbnails and what I need is to when I click on the album I want to display album images on the different template with different header. When I get into the album on that different template I will be able to input some content and that will be album title and description which I call from snippet.

Right now I'm using this code to call albums on the home page.
    [[Cliche? &view=`albums` &browse=`0` &columns=`0` &thumbWidth=`290` &thumbHeight=`218`]]

However, when I click on the album nothing happens. Well, URL is changes but nothing happens. Clearly I'm missing something here. Obviously I need to make a new page for each album, but I don't know how to link it to albums.

Second issue, is it possible to make tags for each albums? For example, mobile, web, graphic etc. and when I click on the tag it will show just albums from related tags.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Kind regards,
    Deni

If there aren't too many images at each album you could just create a Resource for each Album and manage the images with a MIGX-TV and the tags with a Listbox-multiple TV.

you can buy me a beer, if you like MIGX

        Hi Bruno17,

        Thank you for your response.

I thought about that solution, too. But I really like Cliche component interface with all its features (cover select, re-ordering, upload etc.). There is another add-on called just Gallery and I think it has all that I need, but it is not nice as Cliche add-on. Maybe I'm picky and I shouldn't give so much attention to Cliche interface, but in combine with MODx, Cliche is what I'm looking for.

I really need this ASAP, but unfortunately Cliche documentation is so simple and there is no in dept documentation on the web.

        Best regards,
        Deni
