[Solved] How to populate table during extra install?

I am trying to find the best way to populate a table during my extra install using the package manager. Does anyone know where to find info on this? Or have an opinion on how I should go about this?

My development uses a build.schema.php which is used in my build.transport.php that packages everything up in a Zip. Could I possibly use build.schema.php and add some SQL code?

Simply put:

First, package manager creates table based on my schema...
Then, use SQL to populate that table with X amount of records.

Hope what I am trying to accomplish makes sense.

You'd have to do it in a resolver. If a file resolver executes first, your schema should be in place and you can use build.schema.php to generate your classes and maps. These links may help:
