This one has been confounding me for a while and thought I'd check to see if anyone could point me into areas to check.
Have a client site that is working fine
Using the standard .htaccess file with MODX 2.2.9 here:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA,NC]
Things work fine going to
http://www2.site.com/trustedfor/quality-of-member-network.html
however
https://www2.site.com/trustedfor/quality-of-member-network.html
gives a 404 not found page, and not the error page set up in MODX.
Not Found
The requested URL /trustedfor/quality-of-member-network.html was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.22 (Debian) Server at www2.site.com Port 443
We did have to have the client, who maintains the server enable the configuration to allow overides for http. Anyone have some advice in trouble shooting this, or sugguestions?
Edit:
Just to be clear too going to
https://www2.site.com DOES work. The homepage is built and all the files, and urls are built correctly. Any inside page however does resolve correctly and gets a 404. Using the non friendly Url
https://www2.site.com/index.php?id=2 for example will go to the right page.
