I modified a chunk (which merely contains a series of html links) today on a working site, and the changes are not being reflected on the live site. All I did was add a new link. Yes, I cleared the browser cache (I even tried loading on a separate computer that hasn't loaded the site in many months), and cleared the site cache within the manager. When I view the source code of the site, I see the content that the chunk inserts, but it is the old code (minus the new added link). But the manager shows the updated content in the chunk, even through several log-off, log-on sequences.

Not to muddy the waters, but I feel it may be related: As a part of this process, I uploaded (via FTP) a new image (.jpg) to a folder (/images/) which is also not showing within the site manager file browser. However, manually entering the path to the image in a web browser pops up the image properly.

This site was otherwise working fine the last time I did a change like this (a month ago?). Nothing in the error logs.

    Any ideas?

Did you try manually deleting all files in the core/cache directory and clearing your browser cache?

Check your paths in the config.inc.php file. There have been cases where hosting providers made changes to server configurations without notifying their customers, and paths ended up broken. For example, /www/server2/domain.com... instead of /www/server1/domain.com...

Forgot to try clearing the core/cache directory manually. What do ya know, it did the trick! Never needed to do that before (aside from doing a site migration), but hey, it was easy enough. Website immediately showed the change, and the uploaded file shows up in the ModX file browser too. Thanks BobRay!

sottwell, thanks too, though in my case your suggestion did not apply (I own and manage the physical server, and haven't changed any configs or file locations in several months). Always good to check those pesky config paths though, I've forgotten before and they've messed me up enough in the past!
