Can I put a Chunk within a Chunk?

Trying to do something a little simple, I hope, check google etc but dont seem to be able to get it to work.
Chunk 1 - ImageScroller_%VARIOUS NAMES%

[[!jgSlideshow?
  &album_id=`10`
]]
</div>

Chunk 2

[[*longtitle]]

TV

<div class="span8">
[[$ImageScroller_[[+longtitle]]?]]
				</div>

So I have various chunks 1 version with the ID number changes per Slideshow that is created, I wanted it to call the page longtitle which matches the version of the ImageSroller_

Each ImageScroller is called;
ImageScroller_Rom
ImageScroller_Varier
ImageScroller_Fama etc

The longtitle of the page is equal to the bit after _ .

Does that make sense? I hope so, many thanks in advance!

In your TV shouldn't the longtitle be brought in by [[*longtitle]] rather than [[+longtitle]]?

You should be able to nest things in chunks etc though you'll have to work out whether it's an elegant solution or not. You might want to consider using a new TV of your own rather than using longtitle, for instance.

Changed it from + to * and that didnt work either sad

Why not start with getting it working on your page first? So just put into your template:

[[$ImageScroller_[[*longtitle]]]]

Then if that outputs ok, try a chunk that contains the same.

I'm not sure why you're using a TV (which should normally contain page specific information) to select information - I think this is a job for a chunk, which is the same for every page.

My fault, that's not a TV its a Template. Does that help?

Did you remove the question mark? So it reads:

[[$ImageScroller_[[*longtitle]]]]

Can you output [[*longtitle]] anywhewre else?

Can you create a TV called (say) [[*unique_imagescroller_name]] give it a value and output that on the template?

Hi, yes longtitle works fine, I use it for the Page Name in the head, also using imagescroller by itself works fine as well, I have removed the ? as well. Still no joy.

Just give you a bit more code to play with.

What does [[*longtitle]] return? Just a thought but even a space would throw it.
