    Hey Everyone,

    I am using breadcrumbs on a MODx site. When inside a container page, the breadcrumbs are working properly on one section: http://www.stirboston.com/index.php?q=january-2008 (Home > Calendar > January 2008) and the entire trail is showing.

    But on the blog, when you click into a blog posting, the "Blog" container page is not shown in the breadcrumbs: http://www.stirboston.com/index.php?q=bistro-wines-of-france (shows as: Home > Bistro Wines of France) instead of (Home > Blog > Bistro Wines of France)

    I can’t tell what I’m doing wrong. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thank you,
    msflux

      Could it be because you’re using a forwarder?

      If I click on Calendar (http://www.stirboston.com/index.php?q=calendar)
      I get redirected to: http://www.stirboston.com/index.php?q=january-2008

      Also, how does your snippet call look like in the blog pages?

      I am indeed using a forwarder on the Calendar page, which redirects to the current month of classes.

      My snippet call, which is in a chunk {{Breadcrumbs}} looks like this:

      <div id="Breadcrumbs">
      [[Breadcrumbs]]
      </div><!--//Breadcrumbs-->

      Both the Calendar page and the Blog pages are parent/container pages though which is why I would expect them to behave the same with breadcrumbs, but I’m not sure why they’re not.

      Cheers,
      msflux

        Is your blog-container unpublished or set to "show in menu" = no?

        Check the parameters in the source of the snippet. Maybe you’ll need to set
        $pathThruUnPub [ 1 | 0 ]
        or
        $respectHidemenu [ 1 | 0 ]

        You could also check if you got the latest version, published just days ago: http://www.modxcms.com/Breadcrumbs-577.html

        That was it! It’s set to show in menu = yes and it’s working now. Thank you for the help!
