Changing the index page (using site_start)

Hi,

I am trying to change the index page. I went to system > system settings. I changed the site_start ID to the new ID (104 which is new page which i created and published). For some reason which I do not know, the change is not working. To cut the story short,I want the index page to be the new page which I created with ID 104. Any help is appreciated please.

First, make sure you don't have an index.html page in the root.

Be sure you clear the site cache. It that doesn't work, try manually deleting all files in the core/cache directory (assuming that you're using MODX Revolution).

I removed all the cache files manually however no luck.

In the index page I am having this ----> http://www.wp10663178.server-he.de/mr

In reality I need this to be my homepage ----> http://www.wp10663178.server-he.de/mr/home/

If your site is in a subdirectory, then you must have one to tell the web server where the root of the site is supposed to be.
