    Hi there

I’ve used Modx on two sites successfully, but have come up against a problem with a new installation. Probably something simple, but a day over the weekend investigating hasn’t fixed it.

Installation seemed to go fine, opened up Manager and wanted to put up a holding page. Completed, checked publish and saved. In the Manager preview it keeps returning a 404 error.

What else do I need to do? I’ve deleted and re-installed ModX once with no success.

    Thanks, David

I think you need to upload ’index.php’ ’index-ajax.php’ ’.htaccess’(if needed) to your root directory.
