Is there a way to show: "There are xxx visitors on the website at the moment".
xxx needs to show how many.
I was thinking about google analytics api from real visitors but maybe there is something like it already in Modx?

you probably need to enable the "Log visits" option in site settings and use a snippet to display the results

I have fixed some errors and attach it below I forgot to add in the readme
that you need to install the tables. See the install db file (its in german so translate before running)

There is a function: FirstRun() that created it for you automatically using that db file!

I do see some "if db doesn't exists then create DB!"

I'm using datagrid TV's for showing the tables. Last 30 days:
Default value:
@SELECT date,count FROM `modx_scounter_daycount` ORDER BY date DESC LIMIT 0,30
Column Names
Field Names
then style as you see fit!

Grid: Visitors online:
@SELECT ip,time FROM `modx_scounter_useronline` ORDER BY time DESC
All this from that one snippet.
