That's pretty much easy.
Just edit the page, change the Template.
Or is it a different case?

I reported this guy for spam already.
Hi there.
I am not spam but have a related question!!
I am completely new to the modx system and after reading through much of the documentation and altering some of the website information already existing on the modx site, only keywords and meta and content on already assigned pages to this website I am working on.
I decided to copy and paste from a template already designed and assigned to a page. To create a replica that I could work on and interchange with the live page to see if my corrections had worked....
I wanted to be able to test the replicated template with a live page (I did not duplicate the template as I did not want to become confused with two templates with the same name and I was unsure if it would assign a number to the duplicate).
I changed a live page to the new, replica template and all the layout has gone. It did ask me if I wanted to change templates as all the template variables would be deleted if they were not saved.... I chose yes, as there are no template variables saved in this system and of course all the templates etc... are saved after each time they are worked on.... but something has gone wrong.
I then changed the page's template back to the original template and the layout remains gone....
Can you help?
Do you want to see the pages in question?
Thanks
Candice

Think of the template as an ordinary .html file. In the head you have to have links to the .css and .js files, with the correct URLs to where those files are actually located. The convention with MODX is to have all of your web assets (the images, .css and .js files that the browser has to fetch to render the page) in the assets folder, so in your template head you need something like
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="assets/style/style.css">
Since that's a relative path, you need to add a meta tag to your head
<base href="[[++site_url]]">
This way the browser knows to use the full URL to your server to fetch the .css file, prepending the site URL (domain.com) to the relative path in the link tags.
