FormIt.Hook: spam

Hi all,

I have a serious issue with a formit mailer. Unfortunatly a spam bot detected my form and is spamming my inbox. I already use a honeypot with a hidden field like in the sample here: http://rtfm.modx.com/extras/revo/formit/formit.tutorials-and-examples/formit.using-a-blank-nospam-field

Unfortunatly the honeypot is not good enough and the spambot is too clever for this.

Now I wanted to implement the pre-delivered spam hook of formit like this:

Am I missing something here?

Regards,
Alex

Hooks are executed in the order they appear. So your form is sending the email, redirecting, then checking the spam lists. That's not going to do you any good. Put the spam hook before the others.

I'm pretty sure a successMessage is irrelevant if you're redirecting.

Assumed "comment" is not an email address, it should not be in &spamEmailFields .. Also when removed that, you can remove that whole entry because "email" is the default value.

And indeed as Susan said.. I always use this order;

Thanks guys! The order was the problem here.
