How to add extra Product fields in MiniShop2?

Is it possible to add extra dropdown fields (in the style of Colour or Size) for a product? I've hunted around and found a comma-separated list in system settings that seemed to be related but didn't have any effect :-(

You can type directly into the drop-down on the product manager page. Click on the right hand side of the blue tag boxes.

If you were wanting to add completely new drop downs, you can add any type of custom TV. Specify the correct template access for it and it will appear on the Additional Properties tab.

Cheers Dan - but I can only add the options I want (e.g. blue, black) as tags in the field? Unless I'm being completely stupid (and there's a chance!) I can't add a new field (for example, let's say "length" as a field).

That was my next port of call - just thought I was missing something in the minishop itself...

There is a plugin system to customise the product properties tab, but I haven't delved into it properly yet. The Russian docs are at:
