    Hi -- I am rebuilding an Evo site in Revo, and am reconstructing a slideshow with getResources. There is a radio button tv called imageSlideshow that is used to place an image into the slideshow. I have a getResources call that filters for this tv and the value 'yes'. This is then placed into the slideshow using a template chunk called jQuerySS.

    Here is the template chunk:

    <li><a href="[[++site_url]][[~[[+id]]]]"><img src="[[+imageFile]]" /></a></li>

    Here is the getResources call:

    [[!getResources? &tpl=`jQuerySS` &parents=`4` &sortby=`RAND()` &tvFilters=`imageSlideshow==yes` &debug=`1`]]

    This works to the extent that the chunk is output, and the resources associated to the tv are listed. However, the image (imageFile) is not being output.

    Also, I should note that the template chunk has been modified during troubleshooting. I installed phpthumbof to control the image size and removed this from the template to ensure that it was not the source of the issue. Here is the original template chunk:

    <li><a href="[[++site_url]][[~[[+id]]]]"><img src="[[+imageFile:phpthumbof=`h=700&wl=900[[++base_path]]`]]" /></a></li>

    Any thoughts on why the image is not being output would be appreciated!

    Wesley

      You have to specify displaying TVs with &includeTVs and associated properties, see http://rtfm.modx.com/extras/revo/getresources#getResources-OtherProperties

        Susan, thanks. I modified the call by adding &includeTVs as well as &includeContent. Still no output for the placeholder. I then modified the placeholder with the tv prefix, and voila! Always pays to read all the documentation wink

          You could also have used tvPrefix=`` in the snippet tag. wink
