After upgrading to 2.2.9 the QuickBar plugin always shows, even if not logged in to the Manager the QuickBar shows on the front-end. Although if a non-logged in user clicks on one of the bar's buttons they can't edit anything, the bar should not be shown.
Has anybody else seen this in 2.2.9?

Is your QuickBar snippet called cached? If your pages are being cached when you are logged in, the QuickBar will show even when not logged in. Call the snippet uncached, and clear the cache.

Yes, the snippet call is [[!QuickBar]]
When I clear the cache the QuickBar doesn't show to non-logged in users, but after a while it shows (even in an incognito browser window or on a completely different machine)
I am using getCache snippet quite a lot (but not with QuickBar), do you think this could be triggering it to appear?
This problem has only started occurring since I upgraded this site to 2.2.9 :-/

Hm. I don't know. I do know that I see the same thing if the snippet is called cached, and I don't see it when I call it uncached.
I will try and reproduce this. Is MicroCache turned on by any chance? QuickBar checks if the user has a mgr session, sounds like it could be a 2.2.9 bug

@DinoCorn: MicroCache isn't being used.
I've actually had this problem on another 2.2.9 site after upgrading, so my feeling also is its a 2.2.9 bug
