Is Static Makes FormIt Chunk Inoperable

Hello,

We've recently made all of our chunks static (by checking Is Static and using the StaticSaver extension) but found that when we submitted a form using FormIT, validation, redirection, and indeed any functionality did not work. After a fair amount of troubleshooting we unchecked Is Static and then everything worked as normal.

I am using 2.2.9 (Cloud and other servers) and just saw this thread about Wayfinder not functioning when using Static chunks, so it's probably the same issue.

Used the patch from the other thread and fixed the issue in my test environment. I'll try it on my live (but still staging) environment next.

Patch has made everything operable again in regard to FormIt.
