Debugging Snippet

Most debuggers simply will not step through eval()’d code during remote debugging sessions with dbg or xdebug.

Ok thanks. I’ll give it a try then. I understand now that I can’t step into the eval() statement...

FYI, this was one of the major motivations for getting rid of the eval()’s in MODx (next major release), along with the fact that they are just quite simply, a bad idea.

I do agree eval() aren’t the best. Great to hear that they are going away. I’m new to MODx but I really like what I’m seeing so far....
