Hey peeps, I need some input on the best way to solve a fairly minor issue... well in my mind it shouldn’t be too hard to do, just wanted an idea on the best way to do this.

I have 2 sites on the same domain... 2 different directories of course and 2 databases.

What I would like to do is merge the 2 sites in to one modx installation.

the 2 sites are setup slightly different and would like to have them both managed under a single modx manager. Bascially 1 site has a users login area and other site is more an info only site and no registration so hopefully this should make things a little easier.

    site 1 is under www.domain.com/site1/main/
    site 2 is under www.domain.com/site2/main/

I would like them to be under... www.domain.com/main as I have an intro page at www.domain.com

(by the way domain.com is an example only and not my site address smiley)

Or would it be better to have the modx in the main directory www.domain.com and have the intro page as the home page of modx and then have the 2 other sites here as well?

I want to try tidy up the way I have done this so I can control the whole lot in one install. If this doesn’t make sense leave a reply and i’ll explain.

Thanks for any ideas/help offered. grin
