    Hi,

I'm running MODX Revolution 2.2.8 on a nginx-Server (Version 1.0.5). I did the configuration of nginx as described here http://rtfm.modx.com/revolution/2.x/getting-started/installation/basic-installation/nginx-server-config
I turned on "Use Friendly URLs" in MODX, but it doesn't work. Shouldn't "...site.com/index.php?id=alias" show the page with alias "alias"? Using the id (when "Use Friendly URLs" is off) works. I can't access my pages using the friendly URLs. Can anyone help me?

When friendly aliases are used, the URL would look like "...site.com/alias.html". If you use index.php, it looks like "...site.com/index.php?id=42" - using the ID of the resource being requested.

The rewrite rules change the "alias.html" to "index.php?q=alias.html". MODx then uses the "q=alias.html" part to look up which resource has the alias "alias", and takes it from there.
