Getting an error when making or editing an article

"Cannot set property 'Tags' of undefined"

The TV Tag is there an unedited, modx 2.2.9 and articles 1.7.2 (All up to date)

This is preventing the RTE from loading and becoming a realllll pain.

Nothings showing in the error log either sad

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Its hard to tell what kind of bug that is. I can't find that error string anywhere in the MODX core or assets directories, or in the Articles code, so it may be JS bug reported by modExt.

Could you report it here? http://bugs.modx.com/projects/articles/issues [ed. note: BobRay last edited this post 13 years ago.]

Do you mean you can't set Tags in Articles because i'm having the same issue.
I've upgraded to 2.2.9 and Articles 1.7.2 and the Tags dropdown now doesn't display anything so I can neither choose or add any tags.

This sounds like it could be a caching issue. Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

Well It is now working but just not as it used to be where I was able to choose from a list of tags already in use. I cleared the cache a couple of times and i can now add tags.
            Thanks.

As of Articles 1.7 there is a rebuilt tagging component that acts more like Wordpress. Current tags are displayed beneath:

and it features a typeahead input where you can start typing a tag to 'search' for it

But, why was the dropdown list REMOVED?? There needs to be a way to see all existing tags and pick one. Version 1.7.1 had this. [ed. note: rainbowtiger last edited this post 13 years ago.]

1.7.2 introduces a rebuilt tagging component that solved several issues with the previously superbox select component. You can the first letter or two of a tag for a filtered list.

If I don't know what any of the tags are, then I don't know what letters to type. Imagine someone newly assigned to maintaining a blog, entering a new blog post. How are they supposed to know ALL the tags currently in use? There needs to be a dropdown of some sort that shows all the current tags to pick from.

I think an option to view either all or the most used tags of a given Article container underneath the tag cloud would be a great feature to add. Another interesting feature could be typing a space triggers the drop down with unfiltered results.
