I'm not sure why but on my local install (which was working peachy) when I preview the Articles main listing (container) or an individual article (post) in a browser I get a blank white page. The Manager side is fine, I can see and edit any of the Articles related pages/posts.

This only happens within Articles, any other page Resource can be viewed fine. I use custom templates for both the container and articles but I noticed that if I change them to the default "sample" templates everything works fine but as soon as I change back I get the blank page.

The custom templates do exist and I use the "static" picker to hook into them so clearly MODX can find them on some level. I also tried reinstalling the Articles add-on along with all the support add-ons (archivist, getPage etc.).

The only possible explanation I can think of is that I was having folder permission issues after a system crash recently which have been fixed (I think). I have no problem with the remote install.

I'm not sure where else to look. Ideas?

Sounds like there's something within the templates that's causing the problem. Are all the paths correct? This same template(s) works fine on remote?

Yep, the paths seem fine and the remote templates are exactly the same (checked them with a diff tool). Very odd.

I'd suggest copying the default Tpls to your custom ones. If that works, you can modify them a little at a time, checking as you go.

If it doesn't work, the odds are that you're not specifying the custom Tpls correctly (the names are case-sensitive) or there's something funky about their names.

Turns out the problem was with the SimpleSearch installation. After uninstalling/removing then reinstalling all is fine.
