    hi there!

my question, is it possible to remove fields in quip?

specifically remove the name and the check box in short

the email and comment box will remain?

I have tried to remove it from

    • &tplAddComment - core/components/quip/elements/chunks/quipaddcomment.chunk.tpl
    • &tplPreview - core/components/quip/elements/chunks/quippreviewcomment.chunk.tpl

but when I hit the post button this error message appear:
    Undefined index: name
    Undefined index: website

    thanks in advance!!

It sounds like an E_NOTICE bug in Quip. Try making them hidden fields with empty values.

If you post the full error messages, we might be able to suggest a way to fix the Quip code.

I think that's normal. You have to be logged in to post comments by default. If you don't do that, you're likely to get a ton of comment spam.
