Hi guys, I was moving my modx site nagomedia.pl and now I can’t get to my manager. Only thing I get is a white page. I've tried clearing catch and changing js and css compression but I get a blank page (nagomedia.pl/manager)
    Any ideas?

You did run setup after moving the site, right? If not do that, otherwise:

      - Check all the paths and URLs in the core/config/config.inc.php file, especially the MANAGER and CONNECTORS ones.
      - Check the config.core.php files in the root, manager, and connectors directories
      - Check the path in the modx_workspaces table in the DB with PhpMyAdmin

Try re-uploading the manager files too.

I've checked all the paths and edited modx_workspace (I dont know if it's correct but I've changed my path in db to :/home/nagomedia/domains/nagomedia.pl/public_html/core/) but it's still blank.
To be honest I did the dumbest thing I could. I let my hosting company move it, what seemed logical at the time.
I was wondering if maybe an upgrade would solve the problem?. They've moved all files and database so it could work?

Might be silly, but did you clear your cache folder manually via FTP or just through the manager? May try flushing the sessions or clearing your browser cookies. Also, is it every page (System settings, dashboard, users, etc.) or just the dashboard?

It's usually a good idea to run an install after moving files. Without seeing the config file paths, it might be hard to find the problem. There are several lines, so it's quite possibly a typo or oversight. Just upload the "setup" folder and do an upgrade. Make sure to CHMOD your config.inc.php under core/config to be writable. Also, leave all the database stuff the same.

If this doesn't fix it, there's likely something a bit more important missing in the core & manager folders, which can happen if they do an install and find and replace (it doesn't always replace everything properly), which may necessitate a full install. If this is the case, be sure to make a backup of everything, especially your config files and your database, and upload everything but blank config files and run a setup again as an upgrade. This should clear up any problems.

If this doesn't work, try doing a full fresh install. Make sure the dashboard works after doing so. Then upload the various components and asset folders and import the MySQL. If it breaks it again, you can start debugging from there. It may help to not copy the components, and uninstall / force remove and re-download / install them.

The blank manager page happens to a lot of people, it's always just a small thing. Hope this helps smiley

NOTE: Seriously, backup everything and create copied folders. You don't want to lose the config files or important components.

Ok, I've run the install process and everything is ok, apart from that it's missing core/connectors/ directory. Funny thing is that I didn't find that folder in documentation. How is it possible? I am using modx 2.2.0pl.

There is no core/connectors directory. The connectors directory is in the root.

If the Manager works, it's definitely there. wink

Manager doesn't work and as you can see in the attachment , setup script crashes on core/connectors tongue

Check the connectors path and url settings in core/config/config.inc.php.

It should look just like the core path except with 'connectors' instead of 'core'. Be sure it ends in a trailing slash.

It worked but still I've got a blank page in the manager. This site was already loaded from a backup. So the question is, dose it make sens to try and upgrade to a newer version?
