I’m not sure I understand your question but this might help. You can specify the alias of any page in the "alias" field, so you can control how the page is referred to in the browser address window (if that’s what you’re trying to do).
If you mean something else, you’ll have to clarify what you mean by "catch any alias that resides in the container" because aliases don’t reside in containers, or maybe I’m just too tired to follow your line of thought.

Hey Bob thanks for giving it a shot (despite being so tired). Heres my attempt to make more sense.
I am wondering if I can create a page with a wildcard alias, which can then change what it displays based upon which alias it was accessed though.
Thanks.

Make a snippet or maybe even better a plugin to parse the GET and redirect to the appropriate page.

I think I get it now. If I understand you, you don’t want to redirect, just vary the page contents based on the request URL. I’d use a snippet as Susan suggests to parse the GET and then use a switch statement to output the appropriate chunk or chunks.
I’m still a little vague on why you wouldn’t just want to create different pages for each possible URL (unless you don’t know what they might be). You could use templates and chunks for any common content they might have.

Thanks for the advice, I think I should be able to figure something out from all these ideas you’ve given me.
