Okay, I'm long overdue, I know. smiley

Can someone point me to the best directions to upgrade my current install of (0.9.6.2) to the latest, which I presume is Revolution 2.2.9?

I don't want to cause an interruption in my website service, but wish to make the least painful upgrade as possible.

    Thanks!

You cannot simply upgrade from the pre-Evolution 0.9.6.2 to Revolution. It's quite different. You would do much better to stay with the Evolution codebase - the latest is 1.0.10, and 1.0.11 should be released shortly.

If you really want to switch to Revolution, see this: http://bobsguides.com/migrating-revolution.html.

How difficult it is depends on the complexity of your site and your coding skills.

For a small "brochure" site that uses just Wayfinder and Ditto and no other snippets, one or two templates, not many MODX tags, and few or no TVs, you can probably do it in a day or two.

This seems to be the best approach for now. Thanks!
