show last update time /date of a particular document on home page

Can anyone help me in this? I want to show last update time and date of a particular document on home page?

Is there any addon for this?

Perhaps getResourceField?

I just recently ran across fastField, a plugin that adds a tag to the MODx tags, [[#...]] for returning a resource field, among other things. It has a lot of optional properties, and would work just fine with the date output modifier - in the case where you want to show resource #42; you could use a TV or any other field to supply the resource ID:

FastField is really interesting. You can use it to pick up an element's properties, and even GET and POST values.
