Is "Resource Wizard" the standard installer?

Hello,

I have another newbee question. I couldn’t quite figure it out from the forum posts.

What is the standard installation method for snippets, plugins, modules...? The "Resource Wizard" seems to be recommended because it is much easier over any manual method.

Also, are most snippets, plugins... "packaged" properly for installation by the wizard?

Is there any reason why the wizard is not part of the recent modx release?

There are actually only a handful of packages created for the resource wizard. Its a 3rd party add-on, and the installation and packaging system for the next major release is completely different due to the new code base.
