how to have 2 menus?

I would like to have 2 menus for my users. 1 menu would have limited sections on it and the other full access to pages. I want to create my own menus so I don’t want wayfinder or I wouldn’t be asking this lol. I want to create 2 chunks each with the menus code in each... menu 1 and menu 2. I would then like to limit who gets to see menu 1 by memerbergroup permissions and the same with menu 2.

I have been looking at how to do this and I thought about TV but I’m not sure how to call chunks in to a TV and have membergroup access. Could someone help out?

Why don’t you want Wayfinder? It’s already programmed to do exactly as you want. Using view templates, you can have it output any kind of menu you can imagine.

Because i want to use a dhtml menu i made. Looks nicer.

yes I have... regardless I still would like to know how to call chunk into templates and control who can see these chunks. I would like 2 users to be viewing the same page and ID but they see a slightly different menu or banner or piece of text but I would like this info to be in a chunk...

MemberCheck can display chunks according to usergroup.

Personalize has a two stage (on or off) according to if user is logged in or not.

Note that both of these options require that the user be logged in to identify the group (I don’t know of any other way to identify which group a user belongs to).
