"Template Variables" tab is missing above document editing window

I am sorry, I'm completely new to MODX Revolution, this is my first day.

I don't get why I don't see Template Variable tab above document editing window? I was following some tutorials, but it seems now the MODX Revolution interface is changed?
I created 2 Template Variables which I put in my Template, but I don't see how I can edit content in them under document.

Are you sure that your TVs are assigned to the "base template"?

sorry, I didn't know that - now I assigned my TVs to base tamplate also, but still don't know how can I modify them in the document.

A TV is only visible to a resource using the template that the TV is assigned to. If there are no TVs assigned to the template the resource is using, the tab won't show at all.
