Warning: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=644093 in on line

Hi guys,

Doing a fresh install of Revo 2.2.9 today and after smooth install I get this message Warning: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=644093 in [[file path]] on line [[number]]

I have cleared/deleted files/database a number of times, re-uploaded and run setup again with the same error message. I've used this host a number of times with modX before with no issues. Any ideas? Sorry in advance if I am completely missing something simple here.

Modx version: 2.2.9
Server type: CloudLinux
PHP version: 5.4
MySQL version: 5.5.32-cll

You need to contact your hosting provider .. this is an issue with the max_allowed_packet setting for MySQL. They need to increase the value, or you could change host.

Thanks Garry. I have been trying to get my hosting company to change this setting since you replied over a week ago...they are being painful to say the least. Is there any way I can do this myself from my end?

and you could conceivably do it in your config file or in the Snippet that's causing the problem. However, a better solution would be to find a better host.
