Not quite sure where to post this, so, when in doubt...General.
Is the "URL" Template Variable supposed to allow someone to enter the web address of a site (in the editor screen) and then, when displaying the page, display a working hyper link?
I have a page for users on a site I’m working on, where we want them to fill in URL on a simple TV line. Then we want that address to be a working link on the page.
Well, it’s not working.
We have the TV set and applied to the Template. You can see the TV on the page, edit it, and save it. When you preview the page, the URL entered into the TV appears on the page, but it’s static text, not a working hyper link?
Is there something special that has to happen? Is this TV not designed to work this way?
Any help would be appreciated. I’ve searched the forms and found reference to a bug in the URL TV, and I’ve applied that fix. Still not working.
