Package manager do not see some new releases of packages. It is already 1.2.9 version of getProducts available, but package manager says that my 1.2.8 version is the latest. The same with shopkeeper and some other components.

    Why is that?

It's been like this for ages. The repository database an install checks seems way behind the actual repository contents. I suspect it's massively over cached.

Why then not to add the possibility to make an update from any sources without having to delete installed package?

At the moment for modules supplied by Modx repository, if i need to update the module I have to manually uninstall it losing all the settings.
As soon as there could be different source from where I can download the module why don't just give me the option to change the source from where I can make an update and give me the option to change the key repository to search for updates of this module in future?

You shouldn't need to uninstall it, just download the new version as you would a new package, then install it over the top. It should install as an update would. Not a perfect situation but better than uninstalling and you won't lose the settings.

I know that some are not showing in Package Manager because of incorrect compatible Revo version information provided for the package.

Other repositories seem to have no problem detecting an out of date package.
