    Hello smiley

I installed and developed a site based off an IP address and not a domain name for a client.

I just changed the DNS records to point to the new site but now when I type in the domain name I am getting errors loading the page because it is still referring to the IP address. When I view the page source I see the IP where I placed the tags [(base_url)] and [(site_url)].

I am having a mind melt at the moment. Where do I change it so it shows the domain instead of the IP? Feeling really dumb right now.

    Help !!!

    Regards,

    Ken Roberts

I had a similar problem. Try clearing the cache. My problem was that the URLs all had the www missing clearing the cache in MODx helped but I also had to clear the cache to my browser and to logout and log back into the manager to end the sessions.

      Hope this helps.
