Using fastField in a Wayfinder tpl:
    [[#[[+wf.docid]].content]]

Does this return the processed content, or just raw content? In other words, can the content have chunks, snippets, etc?

Argggh! My own stupidity... it definitely processes any tags in the content! I'm working on a single-page site, where menu items are acting like tabs. And so the MIGx gallery system from here needed to be for resource #1, not #3! A basic logic failure.

This is using the Responsive MegaMenu system. You'll be seeing the whole thing being adapted at MODXpo in Cologne in a few weeks.
