    Hi all,

I've build some custom tables using MIGX. Now I would like to show entries in the frontend, where a snippet shows an entry by interpreting GET parameters. However,

    1. I would like to create nice 'Friendly URLs' for these entries. Some custom htaccess rewrite rules would solve half of the problem, because now the friendly urls are nicely interpret, but not yet generated. Is there a nice way to tackle this problem?
    2. The same entries must be added to breadcrumbs as children of their container. Is that possible with a specific addon?

    Thanks in advance!

    Huub

You can actually do that in .htaccess.

Rewrite to the page where the snippet resides and depending on the variables you can simply revert that to a nice and shiny URL.

      Example:
      RewriteRule ^callitwhatyouwant/(.*)/(.*)\.html$ http://www.mydomain.nl/callitwhatyouwant/$1/$2.html [L]

        Thanks, i appreciate your comment!

I guess that should be the workaround but can't believe that there is no real add-on or code that fixes this easily.

I will try the package of yoleg tomorrow, let's see if that works.
