FormIt Radio Button Issue

I'm posting here because I'm not entirely certain this is strictly a FormIt problem.

After recently updating a few add-ons, namely FormIt to v2.2.0-pl on the live server, I noticed errors on the front-end where the form exists. The problem only affects 3 radio buttons, the remaining form elements seem fine. You can see a screenshot of the errors here https://www.dropbox.com/s/49yi1cj6eqze4c1/FormIt.jpg. I have a duplicate local copy of the site (MAMP Pro) and everything is fine.

Ideas of how to fix?

I noticed that bug once as well in the latest version of FormIt. Might be worth submitting an issue in the tracker: http://bugs.modx.com/projects/formit

I recommend reverting to the previous version for now. I haven't had a chance to dig into the cause of the bug yet, unfortunately.

Not sure how to revert. The package for the older FormIt 2.1.2 is still located at core > packages but beyond that I'm not certain how to reinstall it once I uninstall 2.2.0.

If you uninstall and then remove it, the older one should show up in Package Manager.

There is indeed a bug in formit that impacts on checkboxes, more exactly on the FormItIsChecked snippet. I'm not sure, but I believe FormitIsSelected might also be affected.

Today I had to fix a dozen sites because of this.

The bug has been reported here:

I think the bug report is a bit unclear about the real problem and therefore it might have been under the radar.

But there is good news: Near the bottom of the bugreport you'll find a fix for your problem by user medusacomputercreations.

There is also a pull request to solve this problem at github but it hasn't been approved yet.

If the modxcms repo officially took over Splittingreds formit repo at github it would be a good idea to leave an offcial message regarding this fact.

Please tell you fellow team member Splittingred to post something on his formit repo so people don't waste creative energy at the wrong spot.

Unfortunately that is the problem: splittingred is no longer a fellow team member. He's of course welcome to contribute to MODX and we would love to see his repos progress forward but this doesn't seem to be in the cards.
