Hi guys smiley I feel like a real dork asking this, it should be a simple fix, but for some reason I can't get it to work.

    Basically I need to redirect this subdomain - weddings.alexandrabignell.com.au - to http://alexandrabignell.com.au/wedding .

I've tried a standard cPanel subdomain redirect - no luck. I've tried a basic .htaccess redirect, no luck there either. I think it's because of the friendly URLs, the redirect keeps adding a slash to the end which turns it into a folder, e.g.

    http://alexandrabignell.com.au/wedding/

    (which of course doesn't work).

It's quality hosting so I don't think it's a hosting issue. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix, or any modx revo specific .htaccess redirect code I could try?

    Thanks in advance smiley

      Hi Harmony,

Do you have a MODX Resource with the alias 'wedding'? If so, when you preview that Resource, what URL is it at?

There's a few different ways to deal with subdomains in MODX. Often you can leave the server directives out of the picture entirely. MODX can serve content at multiple subdomains, for example, using multiple contexts. If you're simply trying to "forward" a subdomain to a Resource that is also available at it's own URL, that's another story.
