Image cropping in Revolution

Anyone recommend an Extra or way of extending TinyMCE to allow basic image editing, particularly cropping?

There are probably several plugins around, but they are not setupped for working with MODX (like Media Sources etc).

Yes, Image+ TV offers cropping, though your images have to be TVs and not stuff inserted into TinyMCE.

The Redactor editor has some nice features, but I don't think image editing—except for basic resizing—is among them.

If you have a rich text area (TinyMCE) with a variety of different image sizes and need them to all be the same (automatically scaling and cropping any too big, wide, tall, etc.) then imageSlim could do that.

But I don't know of anything that does exactly what you're looking for. [ed. note: jgrant last edited this post 13 years ago.]

Image+TV looks promising so I'll explore that. On first use it seems ideal although the crop rectangle in the editor doesn't match the final image displayed, which means it's a bit trial and error.
