Tinymce is getting rid of text characters when I update in HTML mode, how can I stop this?

    I need to add a forward slash in front of my image source, i.e. <img src=" '/'assest/images...". Everytime I update, save and look back at the code it has taken the forward slash away. Anyone got any thoughts how I can stop this from happening?

      Why are there single-quote marks around the /? There shouldn't be a problem with absolute URLs.

        I have only put the single quotes there to show the slash.
