from domain / to modx subdir (aka: i can't sort my urls)

hi there,
the provider of my hosting and domain services installs modx revo 2.2.7 in /www/modx
i've already set my htaccess files for friendly urls, the problem is that my site can be reached onyl at
http://mydomain/modx/whatever
while i would like to access it at
http://mydomain/whatever

what's the correct way to solve this problem? i have to add that i can manage apache configuration only from a control panel offered by the provider, and i can't see any redirect option...

Could you make your vhost point to /www/modx/ instead of /www/ ?

nope... i have no access to virtual host configuration
