Having to clear cache constantly to keep site live. Periodically the site will go completely down resulting in a blank white page at the site. The manager still works and looks normal. I'll have to go in via ftp and delete all the folders in the cache and the site will pop right back up.
This seems to be triggered by editors logging into the backend and making changes, but it is not consistent. They can make changes to pages for a while and then it will go down. If the manager is left alone after clearing the cache the site seems to stay up.

The only thing I can think that is different from a standard install and could have caused this was a that the domain was added after modx install. Config files are updated properly, I reran setup, and the site seems to overall work excluding this issue.

    MODX 2.2.8-pl
    GoDaddy Server
    php 5.3

GoDaddy does not play well with Revo. Quite a few people seem to have similar cache problems with them. I think it's something not quite right with their "cloud" configuration. GoDaddy isn't alone in this; as far as I know Rackspace Cloud never has been able to sort out their problem handling Revo's caching. SkyToaster and A2 are priced very competitively with GoDaddy, and they definitely work well with MODx.

I actually have several modx installs on the same server working great. Yeah I'm not a huge fan of goDaddy but I have to use it. Anybody have any suggestions for troubleshooting the issue?

If you can, look at the server's log. You may find that those edits by users are pegging virtual memory at the maximum allowed. A side effect is clobbering the site's cache. Or it might be something else altogether. Have a look.
I looked just like that in 1964.

I'll check that out. Another note. I disabled the site cache yesterday and the site still seems to be caching everything and the site is still going down. I would think this would have solved the issue at least temporarily but no such luck. Banging head against wall.

Do you have any Elements protected by Category Access Policies?

I started the error log on my server so far nothing.
Still having issues with this. I've reinstalled MODX entirely for this site. The only other thing I can think of is that the domain is not registered under my account. I can't see this causing any issues, but it is the only thing that is different from other modx sites I have on this server.

                    possible plugins causing issue?
                    plugins:
                    Bib Brother
                    Code Mirror
                    Fast Field
                    IF
                    MIGX
                    phpThumbOf
                    Simple Search
                    TInyMCE
(I have all these on others)

It seems to be doing this randomly and has nothing to do with people editing resources. Anybody have any clue?
