I'm SURE I'm not the only one to want this feature. What gets me is that I remember seeing it somewhere before but just CAN NOT find it now.

What I'm hoping to do is to have a select with 4 or 5 values, based on which of these is selected another TV would show just below it in the manager. Can someone help give me a jump-start in getting that to work?

    Thanks!

I think that's extremely difficult to do. It would require some custom JS, and unfortunately modExt/ExtJS is used to create the form and it creates almost everything "on the fly" so the stuff you want to hide/show usually doesn't exist when you want to alter it.

You can hide/show a TV with Form Customization based on the existing value of another TV (maybe that's what you're remembering), but that won't change things when a user sets a TV in the form.

It might be possible in the front end with NewsPublisher. You could inject your own JS with a separate snippet (or a chunk) and the classes should all be available as soon as the form renders.

Thanks, I may dig in at some point... I really think this could be useful for client input.

Yes, it would definitely be handy to have.
