ModX recaching slows down server

I am currently using the newest version of ModX Rev we have about 800 documents but every time a change is made to the website and published it regenerates all 800 documents and really bogs down the entire sites server resources. I'm trying to figure out a way to fix this issue so it doesn't have as big an impact on resources or only pushes changes that are new instead of everything.
