tinyMCE and html5??

Does anyone knows if its possibel to write html5 i the tinyMCE editor, when i try it removes the tags like for exampel <figure>

There is an updated version of TinyMCE called TypoMCE over on a Russian MODX repository: http://store.simpledream.ru/packages/utilities/typomce.html

This uses v3.5.8 of TinyMCE which fixed a bug where html5 data attributes where stripped from contents: http://www.tinymce.com/develop/changelog/?ctrl=version&act=view&pr_id=1&vr_id=833

If you're wanting to do more than just throw paragraphs, etc in using an RTE, I would suggest since you know HTML that you install either CodeMirror or ACE as your editor for pages, or completely disable RTE for content resources!
