Generally speaking code using base64 encoding is some form of hack. Could you elaborate on why you are trying to run base64 code?

That being said MODX should be able to run it without any problems.

        Hello AMDbuilder!

Thanks for reply...essentially an external provider is trying to run an SEO geo location snippet, and found that it works in normal static php pages via PHP include, but when I tried to run it in a modx snippet it seems to fail...the snippet is a custom plugin code wrapped in:

        eval(base64_decode('scrambled-code-is-here')

...which is included in the head of a page...

...i don't know the plugin exactly, it is from an SEO source...

...they are trying to create SEO pages for every city in America! Somehow it generates links and when you click on a link it changes the content...

...somewhat like this site example is the goal I believe, in simple terms:

        http://www.thedatarecoverygeeks.net/arizona/data-recovery-in-phoenix-az/

...the custom plugin code also essentially changes the meta tags and descriptions via variables provided by the plugin.

...that is as much as I know, it sounds like a nightmare, I'm not involved with SEO...

...I'm just the modx runner kid!

...personally i think this might be beyond modx myself though. This snippet is trying to create URL links and page content (based in a master layout) without actually creating content, all via variables...and for every city in the USA!
