    Sorry, looking into it some more and you DO need the prefix:
    [[+tv.NewsImage]]

    Click on the articles container in resource tree. In the Advanced Settings tab, is 'Include TVs in Listing' and 'Process TVs in Listing' both set to yes?

      I've sorted it!
      I needed to put the following in my getresources call:
      &includeTVs=`1` &processTVs=`1` &tvPrefix=``


      and rename the tv tv.NewsImage so now my code is:
      <img src="[[+tv.NewsImage:phpthumbof=`w=300&h=200&zc=1`]]" alt="[[+pagetitle]]" />

          If you are using 'articles' then you shouldn't need a seperate getResources call. Articles handles the listings it's self.

            Thanks, I always thought I've been doing it an odd way round but this was the only way I could understand for it to work. Couldn't find any decent tutorials on using articles as I wanted.
